This project involved the construction of a specialist skin melanoma research, treatment and education centre consisting of six levels, comprising two levels of underground car park, three medical floors and one plant room. Internal areas include six specialist consultation and procedure rooms, research laboratories, offices, conference rooms and 100 seat auditorium.
The client aspired to achieve a world class “monument” type facility, as such, the building features complex architectural detail both internally and externally.
Sustainable initiatives were incorporated into the building resulting in the achievement of a 4.5 star Green Star (Design) rating.
