Campbelltown Private Hospital Stage 2

Information

A W Edwards built the Campbelltown Private Hospital on a design and construct basis, successfully completing it nineteen months before the commencement of Stage 2.

The Stage 2 project arose from the success of the first stage and the client’s desire to take advantage of new market opportunities.  It consisted of the refurbishment of a 19-hospital bed ward on Level 3 to allow the construction of 2 additional operating theatres and recovery areas, while the hospital remained in full operation.   It also included the total refurbishment of 23 specialist medical suites on Level 2 to provide for 34 additional hospital beds and the inclusion of a 26-bed private non-acute mental health clinic.  The Clinic is the first of its type in Australia, incorporating full mental health guidelines and regulations while ensuring hotel-style comfort and experienced care.
