Information

The redevelopment includes the design and construction of new hospital buildings and the refurbishment of existing hospital spaces.

The scope of works includes:

• New operating theatres
• An expanded emergency department
• Adult overnight inpatient beds
• Expanded medical imaging department
• Purpose-built ambulatory care centre
• New pediatric short stay unit
• An expanded intensive care unit

The existing hospital will remain operational throughout the redevelopment.
