NSW Rural Fire Service Headquarters

Information

Construction, integrated fitout and commissioning of a four-storey office building for the Rural Fire Service along with significant external works and construction of a separate warehouse and car park. 

Featuring a passive solar design and landscape irrigation systems, the NSW Rural Fire Headquarters is an environmentally sustainable design; receiving a 4-star energy rating.

The design of the building showcases two large voids in the centre to aid the flow of natural light, communication and create a visually open space.

Scope of works also included the construction of a separate Communications Tower to accommodate for state-of-the-art communications systems and back-up emergency power.
