Design finalisation and construction of a three-storey science building including undergraduate science teaching laboratories, four PC2 laboratories, an advanced simulation lab for collaborative science learning, high-tech spaces for materials testing and equipment, social science teaching spaces, psychology research labs and an art therapy studio, associated car parking, external paving and landscaping works.
The new facility accommodates the University’s School of Science and Health, the Advanced Materials Characterisation Facility (AMCF), and the School of Social Sciences and Psychology, with capacity for over 400 students and staff.
The building was awarded a 6 Star Green Star certified rating.
