This 1,200m2 medical teaching facility ground floor accommodation includes administration offices, seminar and meeting rooms, amenities and kitchen. The first floor accommodates laboratories, tutorial rooms, amenities and student kitchen with common room. Mechanical and hydraulic services plant is provided on a concrete slab at roof level. The structure is reinforced concrete with structural steel roof, masonry cavity walls and metal deck roof. A variety of external finishes including Vitrabond wall panelling, face brickwork, extensive glazing and sun control louvres have been used. Internally the building features Screenwood timber slat ceilings, filigree joinery screens and fabric wall panelling.
