Information

This project consisted of the demolition of part of the existing buildings and construction of two separate multi-storey buildings housing seven science laboratories and associated write-up classrooms.

The scope comprised of a boarder’s meal room and canteen with full commercial kitchen, a two-storey library, administration offices, a lecture theatre – seating 250 students, study rooms and roof top plant rooms.

Adjacent, three existing multi-storey sciences buildings were refurbished to house nine science laboratories and associated staff spaces.

Works also included external works to create a lower courtyard, new quadrangle and Founders forecourt. The project was delivered in a live environment with the school being operational throughout the construction period.
