Village Green Redevelopment

Information

The redevelopment of the UNSW Village Green into a sport and leisure environment with facilities for playing multiple sports, ex­ercising, socialising and relaxing. Project works include:

• Redevelopment of 25,000 square metres of open Village Green space
• Multi-purpose synthetic pitch to FIFA and World Rugby Regulations
• Approx. 16,000m3 in-ground infiltration tank
• 3 x multi-purpose hard courts
• 1 x basketball half court
• 500 metre running track
• Installation of recreational equipment
• Seated viewing grandstand with canopy
• Complete design and construction of café and bar within a multipurpose use building
• Refurbishment of existing Pavilion building
• Refurbishment and repurpose of office space to create additional amenities
