Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre Upgrade

Information

Major upgrade works to the Ken Rosewall Arena and the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre. The scope of works includes:

• Staged demolition of the existing roof
• Structural enhancements to the structural steel framework
• Installation of a cable tensioned net roof over the entire stadium
• New services installation – sports lighting, communication, security, PA works
• Upgrades to the broadcast media facilities including new scoreboards
• Removable sports flooring to accommodate Netball events
• Installation of 10,000 new spectator seating and amenities
• Various back of house facilities and staff facilities

In addition to hosting major tennis events such as the APT Cup, the completed venue will also allow Netball NSW to showcase premier netball events.
