White Bay Cruise Terminal

Information

Construction of a new cruise ship passenger terminal and at-grade car park at White Bay in Sydney’s Rozelle.

The White Bay site is recognised as part of the first regular internationalised shipping container route in the world. The industrial history is reflected in the design of the terminal through the integration of existing crane gantry.

The undulating roof is suspended from the gantry. This design element added complexity to the works. Close collaboration between the AWE team and JPW allowed for efficient design resolution.
