White Bay Cruise Terminal

This design and construct project involved the
adaptive reuse of the existing port assets into
a new cruise ship passenger terminal at White
Bay in Sydney’s Rozelle.

The building’s contemporary roof canopy de-
fines the project – the curved steel and alumin-
ium roof suspended between the historically
significant twin gantry beams creates a giant,
wave-like form.

The scope included construction of the arriv-
als and baggage hall, embarkation balcony,
storage and amenities areas, a kiosk, kitchen,
amenities, staff facilities, and customs and
AQIS facilities.

A 200 space at grade car park, forecourt and
covered set down area was also delivered.

Australian Institute of Architecture (AIA) Na-
tional Architecture Awards.
