On Sunday, May 19th, the AW Edwards running team joined over 11,250 runners participating in the iconic SMH Half Marathon which is a 21.1km run through the Sydney CBD.
Our team had a fantastic result this year with a ranking of 13th across all participating teams and 3rd in the corporate division.
A big thank you goes out to our major sponsors who helped us achieve first place ranking on the fund-raiser leader board, they included Barnwell Cambridge, Jones & Jones Master Plumbers, Metrotex Painters, Fredon Industries, Wideform, M+G Consulting, Climatech NSW, Wexford Welding, Total Glass & Aluminium, Mainland Civil, Traino Group and Beyond Fire.
Our final tally for the event was $51,820 which was raised for the Beyond Blue charity.
Congratulations to all our runners: Richard Piper, Chris Oliver, Timothy Dekruif, Glyn Hughes, Liam Smyth, Colin Danby, Etienne Philibert, Michael Musarra, Ella Gibson, Steve Chamberlain, Justin Smith, Tim Hay, James Fletcher, Sam Kerfoot, Yoann Pruvost and Cyrille De Barace you all ran a great race and well done to you all.
