Our Warrick Lane – Blacktown Redevelopment project was officially launched on July 4 with a sod turn ceremony attended by Blacktown City Council officials and by A W Edwards CEO Greg D’Arcy and members of our project team.
Speaking at the ceremony Greg D’Arcy said, “A W Edwards welcomes the opportunity to be part of the team on the Warrick Lane Project that will transform the Blacktown CBD into a vibrant and welcoming space for the community”.
The construction of the 470-space car park will have world-class facilities including electric car charging points, disability access, lift access and parking space availability indicators. The Main Street Plaza and 2 flanking buildings will provide a new CBD centrepiece providing open space, gardens, restaurants, retail shops and some office space.
“The partnership between Blacktown City Council and A W Edwards will yield a huge public asset and will ignite the rejuvenation and development of the CBD,” Mayor Bali said.
