“LAKE Cathie’s new $8.3 million school will be open for business on day one of term one 2015, with enrolments for the first intake of students open from Monday.
The construction contract has been awarded to local company AW Edwards and will equate to 50 jobs when work gets underway.
A W Edwards Regional Manager Kimbal Dunham said the school will be an exciting and challenging project to work on with civil works to commence mid-April.
The school will have 10 classrooms, up to 20 teaching and administrative staff, a library, school hall, canteen and a capacity to enrol 250 students. Construction will also include an administration building, staff facilities, games and assembly courts, a covered outdoor learning area, sports fields and an expansive free play area.”
