A W Edwards achieved a major milestone, ahead of schedule, with the delivery of 13,000 seats and associated facilities for the Ashes test match in January, 2014. The team was praised for its efforts, going above and beyond to ensure the series was a success for players and visitors alike.
Following the success of the Ashes test match, the SCG is undergoing further transformation to welcome Major League Baseball to Sydney. The LA Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks are descending on the hallowed ground on the 22nd and 23rd March after warming up against Team Australia.
