The 5th of June was World Environment Day which we recognised with Let’s Clim’act Day. Events were organised across our construction sites and offices to share with employees our commitment to the planet. Together we have an ambitious target: to reduce our carbon footprint by 30% by 2030.
One of the high points of the day’s events was the opportunity to play a game that helped players understand the many activities and resources that have an impact on our projects’ carbon footprint, identify the most significant sources of emissions and potential drivers for reduction to be deployed. Let’s Clim’act Day was a great success and showed participants the important part we can all play in decarbonising the construction sector.
A W Edwards has produced a video pledging our commitment to the planet and details our objectives and the ways in which we will reduce our carbon footprint by 30% by 2030.
