A Celebration of 2015
This past year has seen A W Edwards immersed in some highly challenging projects spanning the health, transport, infrastructure and education sectors. These projects provided the opportunity for our people to work in a collaborative manner with a wide range of Clients, Project Managers, Architects and Consultants creating teams to deliver world class facilities for the community.
In all our projects we have a primary focus on exceeding project objectives and delivering exceptionally high quality facilities for our Clients.
We are pleased to have received industry recognition at the recent 2015 Master Builder’s Association Excellence in Construction Awards for (i) The Children’s Medical Research Institute, Westmead; (ii) St. George Accident and Emergency Department, Kogarah, and; (iii) the Victoria Avenue Community Precinct, Concord West. These projects embody the A W Edwards core qualities of integrity, dedication, consistency and quality.
These projects all presented unique challenges however our teams were able to adapt to the situations presented and mitigate all potential risk by developing efficient and effective project solutions. When assessing these projects the Master Builder’s Association judging panel noted A W Edwards’ high standard of finish, detailed planning and communication, excellent Client relationships and initiative.
Congratulations to all involved in the design and delivery of these exemplary facilities.
The following pages provide some insight into our footprint in 2015. In every project we seek to add value, whether that is by facilitating a “Name the Crane” competition, through value engineering or by finding solutions to complex design issues.
We believe that an important part of our role as contractors is to support and guide our Clients through the journey of constructing their building and to make that experience as enjoyable and satisfying as possible. A W Edwards has a strong conviction in what we do. We are passionate about construction because it is our life’s work and our purpose.
Seeing our buildings occupied with people experiencing the spaces provides real satisfaction. For over 94 years we have played a part in changing the face and shape of the city and we look forward to continuing our role in developing the community.
We take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy and safe Christmas and Holiday season.
